Love Your Neighbor and Strive to be Agents of

Transformation in Your Community

We are Christians called to love our neighbors, and United Methodists on a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

We invite you to be part of the Love Your Neighbor movement begun at Garfield Memorial Church. Join United Methodists across the State of Ohio in modeling the love of Christ and making a difference in your community. Show the world you love your neighbor!

To support this movement, Willoughby United Methodist Church has ordered 20 yard signs.

Signs available at the Church Office. Each sign costs $6.00.

Responding to Hurricanes Milton & Helene
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is working with disaster coordinators and Early Response Teams (ERT) in annual conferences to assist local churches impacted by Hurricane Helene, that first hit land on September 26, and Hurricane Milton, that made land on October 9. Both hurricanes claimed lives and devastated homes and businesses.
“Although Milton came ashore near Siesta Key, Florida (a barrier island close to Sarasota), the reality is that this storm has impacted our entire state,” said Florida Conference Bishop Tom Berlin. “This storm brought flooding and wind to people and congregations who just began cleaning up two weeks ago from Hurricane Helene.”

As we pray for those impacted, please remember:
Do not “self-deploy” into a region until invited.
Do not send supplies and clothes.
Do pray.

Youth Ministry Supporting DTW 5K Runners!

Our amazing Youth Ministry were out in full force, handing out water and cheering on the runners at the annual DTW 5K! Their energy and enthusiasm helped keep the runners hydrated and motivated as they ran through the streets.

We are so proud of our youth for their dedication to serving the community and spreading positivity at this exciting event.
